Automat musik is my first release that is not composed, produced and maxed out. It has not been mixed or produced and it is barely recorded. Making music is fun, but finishing records and getting everything done is where the work starts. Or even worse, when you finish your record you have to pull up all your narcissism and start to promote your awesome and best music. I think I have already made enough music with a lot of effort to do something else. Why wouldn’t one just focus on the fun side of making music if that is possible and turn the brains off? That’s what I did with Automat Musik. I invested in a system that creates music only with the press of a button and twist of a sliders and pots. I just needed to choose whether I liked the music enough that I wanted to capture it or reprogram the parameters to get different outcome. It’s incredibly fun and doesn’t need much effort or brains at all. Enjoy.
